Why Your Content Creation Process Feels Hard (And How to Fix It Easily)
I hated everything I created on my 'batch content Sundays' until I realized my planning system was broken, not me.
Now, I create 2x the content in half the time using my natural energy.
Here’s how I do it:
I studied the golden threads of wisdom and truth between my Natal Chart, my Gene Keys, and my Human Design, and I want to share something that changed everything for me.
Here are the realizations I had around content planning and creation:
You're stuck because you're trying to plan content like someone you're not.
I used to do this all wrong.
I'd sit down with my notebook, Google Calendar pulled up, and my cherry-limeade Reign energy drink chugged and then just stare at the blank page and camera turned on, mirroring back to me my blank stare.
Nothing would come.
Why?
Because I was forcing myself to work in straight lines when my energy doesn't move that way.
My energy (and maybe yours too) moves in spirals and waves.
Here's the thing:
You're NOT here to be consistent. You're here to be true to yourself.
When you create stuff that feels right to you, the consistency happens naturally. And when you find your natural rhythm, people can feel it in what you make.
Some days you'll want to teach big ideas.
Some days you’ll want to express whatever your soul is excited to share.
On other days, you'll want to tell stories or use cool word pictures.
That's all good!
But you need a way to plan that makes room for all of these different sides of you.
I think in analogies for everything, and here’s what I came up with on how to describe “your natural rhythm.”
Planning content when you're an intuitive person is like being on a boat at night. You don't need to see the whole ocean. You just need to feel which way the water is moving.
Be like water, my friend (shoutout Bruce Lee)
When you try to force ideas when you're not feeling it, it's like trying to catch the wind in a jar.
Like trying to grab mist.
Like trying to bite your teeth.
Like trying to swim upstream against the current.
Like trying to see your reflection in muddy and rapidly moving water
It doesn't work.
But when you respond to things that excite you, like a question someone asked or an idea that pops into your head, you create from a place of power and inspiration (in-spirit).
And truth travels fast.
If you've been frustrated with planning, it's not because you're doing something wrong. It's because you're ignoring how you naturally work.
I've heard from social media/content experts that more structure = more success.
But structure without soul is just a cage.
This is why most content plans don't work out. They ask you to fit into a box when your gifts need room to grow.
I understand this on a soul level because I’m a Capricorn Sun, and I understand the whole structure, firm foundation, etc., but I’m also a Manifesting Generator, which explains my multi-passionate/polymathic lifestyle I’ve had my whole life that rebels against certain structures and disciplines.
I thrive with content planning and creation by having structure, but needing space for magic to manifest within the structure.
Here's what actually works and a BETTER way to plan:
Start with what gets you excited. Look at your notes or messages. What makes you lean forward with interest? Start there. Last night, I spent 3 hours going through my journals, Apple Notes, and channeling inspired YouTube video titles/ideas, and I ended up with 1,037 authentically aligned ideas that excite me on all levels of my being.
Create based on how you feel. Don't force yourself to make stuff when you're feeling low. Don't post when you're too excited. Wait for that calm, clear feeling, then share because people are verbal, body cues, and body language experts, and can feel with the vibes are off.
Group your ideas by feeling, not by date. Forget "Monday Motivation” or whatever you’ve tried before and failed.. Instead, group your ideas by themes that matter to you: growth, truth, freedom, or depth.
Don't overthink the format. The same idea can work as a video, a post, or a podcast. Let it change and grow.
This is what happens when you follow your intuition and understand your energy patterns:
When you follow what feels right instead of what you "should" do in content creation:
People connect with your content in a deeper way
Your audience stops scrolling and starts listening
You attract people who get the real you
Ideas come to you like lightning
You don't burn out as much
I don’t particularly have a large audience on any platform, but I’ve had 200-500 viewed reels where I have had multiple comments and DMs from people talking about how my perspective or insight solved 5 years of trauma they’ve had, changed how they viewed themselves for the better, and more.
You don't need more time.
You need more truth in what you say, express, and share online.
Because when something is true, it hits right away, not just for you, but for everyone else.
When you stop forcing your gifts into formats that don't fit you, you become impossible to ignore.
Start with what moves you. Then let it move the world.
